Longs
Peak is the only 14,000-foot peak located within Rocky Mountain
National Park, and is the most coveted
of all Colorado
fourteeners. It towers over its surrounding peaks in the northern Front Range of the Colorado Rockies. Different angles show the great
mountain's unique profiles. Changing weather reflects Longs
Peak's many moods. Its most notable feature is
the spectacular 1,675-foot east face, a portion of which, the sheer 1,000-foot
Diamond Face, has long been respected by climbers as an extraordinary challenge.
We also have many other climbs and dates. Check out our website at www.summitforsomeone.org.
