G3 - Third Generation
Integrating the balls into the design was the most prevalent change,
besides increasing the size of the tubes. Larger tube sizes had a
stabilizing effect on the craft. Comparatively in the kayak body
terms, a G2 raft would be a square bodied kayak and a G3 akin to
a rounded kayak. The net effect was a smoother ride with more
floatation in big water while still having to respond to larger
hydraulics.

Intermediate rafters are able to experience and control this raft in class III-IV rapids.
