This spectacular peak is a great climbing experience that can be tailored to any climbers abilities. The center spire has only been climbed a few times and is rated 5.10b but don't let that fool you it is no sport route. An approach can take from 2-5 hours passing through enchanted Lenga tree forest then as you break the tree line your eyes will be greeted with a awesome view of the Futa valley rivers, lakes, and snow caped peaks as far as the eye can see. After a challenging approach crossing glacier and scree the climbing is adventurous to say the least... one of the most interesting points on the Chile-Argentina border, we must be prepared for volatile weather and all of those great challenges that can lead to an epic....
